Will this game require an online pass? Can I rent it?

When you start playing the game there is a button that says Link Account on that page there is a code you put in on the trion website, I know this because my game came today and i'm reading the manual atm.

The pre-order code you get can just be redeemed in the In-game store to recieve the items you get with that copy.

You must have a better manual than the one I got there was nothing in my manual . Also the game discs all have unique codes on the software wouldn't that be time consuming when it comes to pressing them all individually .

Well you can rent it from lovefilm, whether or not you can play it is a different matter.

Unless the pre order code ( which could change after that batch is all sold ) gives you the online pass along with the goodies when entered onto the trion store. As said I ain't going near it till I know the servers are up.

Again it's not clear. The game requires a unique log in because its not using your gold account ( even though its required ) . There is no way your Xbox knows a unique compatible disc from the next. If a unique serial number is on the game disc imbedded in the soft ware then each press of the disc is different ( never going to happen due to cost and time ) .

So yes you need to make an account but with out a online pass or any form of code in the box please explain how this can be done. To stop rentals or trade ins.

I agree it's a massive oversight on trions part if they have forgot to include passes or implemented them.

Again how does that lock your disk ? All that does is link your gold account to your trion account. As your connecting to trions servers through your gold account you need to do this.
