While I do agree with your stand-point. Some people just want to have the Ultimate or Collector's editions for the goodies they offer. On the other side, I do feel that Trion needs to make the game downloadable to those who have pre-ordered, but not yet received it (by entering their pre-order code or something). They can later enter their Collector or Ultimate codes for the added goodies. I don't agree with a grace period however, Trion doesn't need to release the game earlier (or later). Everyone should be able to download and play on release day.

People need to be sensible here, also buying a game doesn't mean you are entitled to play it on release date. It seems most forget that.
they said that in the Live stream yesterday that the beta version is no good for updating for console and that they will need the disc to install... plus to release something like this for the xbox would require 30 days for certification and alot of money... then maybe xbox players would have a grace period.... 30 days later.

quit ordering stuff on the internet. quit being lazy and drive to the store and pick up the game so you can get it on time if that is what you want. preoder at a physical store and pick it up at said store=no problems in getting the game late. ill be driving to pick up my collectors edition Tuesday!
Actually, no: Only those who have the code already entered in, or entered in by midnight on April 1st could do it. Free codes were indeed handed out. So what? A grace period of a day or two effects nothing; after that period ends, you cannot play the game again without a code that comes with the game. Buying a product, in this case a video game, should indeed mean you get to use it on the day it is released, hence the term release day. Sure, some people didn't choose the best option, but then again Trion's having a midnight launch of the game but no midnight pick-up isn't an optimal option either.
