Is anyone else finding the roadblocks to be boring and obnoxious? They may have been fun the first few times but when there's one around every other corner it's a bit much...especially when they are not really worth the effort of doing.

Annoying - yes, at times when I just want to get from Point A to Point B as quickly as possible. Otherwise, not so much. With the replay content adding back some of the older ones, I am still finding some that I haven't done yet, so it does keep the interest. I tall depends on what I feel like doing at the time. I have actually enjoyed hitting up the Afflicted ones again - makes it nice for weapon leveling which can indeed be otherwise boring. The Volge are still entertaining as it is still quite the challenge to try to solo them without dying. To me they are worth it - with the exception of the Volge, they usually only take a few minutes and offer up some XP and loot that can add up nicely when you do a few in a row.

those roadblocks appearing out of thin air breaks levels of immersion for me... Don't know how they could have done it in a better way given the constraints they have though, so I'm okay with it. But I agree that theres too many and it gets repetitive. The game needs other kinds of open world content besides emergencies and arkfalls. Something that actually have an impact on the world, emergencies are totally isolated events.

They're so close together that it's borderline absurd and really annoying if you're trying to get somewhere quick.

But it is rather enjoyable to lure a group of inflicted into a Volge roadblock, or vice versa, then slaughtering the survivors. A few nights ago I did this then found a nearby Monarch I lured into the fray as well.

But I've still not yet achieved the pinnacle of troublemaking, luring a Wandering Hulker into the Volge, but I'm still looking.

I like when people lure volge to Iron demon ranch. I'm a Tabula Rasa refugee and I loved the outpost attacks on that game. When people lure volge or afflicted to iron demon ranch I feel like i'm playing tabula rasa again ( I hope the devs don't read this and move that emergency further away from iron demon ranch )

Easily ignored when wanting to.. except for the occasional popup
that happens unexpectedly while traveling the coastlines.
I do feel they are worth the rewards if you choose to participate.
However I try to engage in activities that net keycodes in addition
to Xp and loot.

I love that idea. There definitely needs to be more Volge incursions into Iron Demon Ranch. I wonder how far they might range inside the way the game's set up now?

I remember the first week they came out I was busy using the vendor machine and suddenly I'm taking shots in the back by a Volge Trooper who's running around in front of the lawkeeper's house. It was around that point that I wondered what happened to the e-rep NPCs that I used to see standing around out there. Not sure if they got patched out or if I advanced the mission storyline to a point where they don't appear.. or maybe they got blown away by Volge and the programmers didn't set them up to respawn correctly.

The only roadblocks that annoy me are the Volge ones when I'm trying to get somewhere fast, especially driving from an arkfall to arkfall. Driving like a maniac; suddenly a wild Volge appears in front of me, my ride blows up and then my face blows up. Or I end up limping to my destination waiting for the cooldown on my ride.

At least I've learned how to deal with the Volge nowadays, mostly.

I like when people lure volge to Iron demon ranch.

Iron Demon Ranch is my hangout spot because of the nearby emergency spawn location, and I do really enjoy when the Volge spawn and chase people into the ranch, an unscripted invasion is awesome as it also draws in people who are idling at the ranch xD
