Trion pre order and Steam question

Its the Steam Client that's the issue. Wont allow you to apply a gift or game upgrade to a game it registers is not on your Steam account. Well i have purchased it via Trion not Steam so it wouldn't be lol . I have E-mailed them though and simply asked them to send me my Key code associated with my purchase so i can add it to my Trion account.

I actually pre-ordered with Origin, and upgraded thru Trion before I ever even thought to just get a refund and buy thru steam. I hope you get it worked out so you can take advantage of the freebies.

I don't know about the ins and outs of steam, but applying the code would net you those benefits. Sledgehammer has said that if you were to preorder from every retailer you could apply all the bonus codes to one account and have them all.

please let us know if this works, because i ordered my base game off of amazon since i had a 40$ gift card, now i cannot get the season pass of steam because i didnt buy the game on steam, so ive opened a support ticket with them, i was thinking about what would happen if i bought it as a "gift" and then gave myself the gift.
