There are street vendors who obtain the game early and distribute them. Also there is one particular person who exploits this on a popular torrent site. It won't be long for now, you'll see the PC copy on the site aswell.

what ive heard is because of the keys theres no way to play online but they cracked it so you can play the missions on your own but thats just what i saw in this thread from someone posting about the nfo in the torrent

there is NO way to play Defiance online with pirated discs. It's not an ordinary multiplayer game where you can just cheat MS into thinking you bought the game. The game uses a whole different server tech and you gotta buy the game to get the right serial code and only then you can log into your account and play the game. there is NO other way! Leave your console mindset behind. This is a FULL MMO.

what good is a disc if you CANT use it!!! The game works in a huge way on Trion's servers, You cant play it as you wont have a valid serial key to play it. It's a paid MMO not lame *** multiplayer game. The disc doesnt matter even. It's your active "PAID" account with a serial key attatched that matters. Whos dumb now? :PPP
