Pirating games is pretty poor.

If everyone pirated movies and there were no dvds, studios would still make money in box office revenue. Given that this revenue would be their sole income, they would really need to make more films that wouldn't bomb at the box office probably leading to a better qaulity of films in the future.

If everyone pirated music and there were no CD's, artists would still make massive amounts of money from touring and to pull in the largest crowds they would really have to make music that matters, instead of the same copy paste ********, leading to a better qaulity of music in the future.

If everyone pirated games...well...the actual purchase of a game is one of the biggest source of income for the developers and publishers. The industry would either collapse on itself, or it would have to impose stricter versions of in game transactions and season passes. Which already serve to annoy gamers.

So don't be a total piece of shtako. Buy your games, support the industry.

CRACKDOWN! now that game was totally worth the money, so was Portal 2, and L4D 1 and 2, Ace Combat, the rest i could care less about.

so playing a pirated game(disc) on a modded box online wont get an individual banned? it is a fact microsoft does do individual console bans in addition to "sweeps" of people playing early. individual console bans are what he was saying NEVER happens.
