Steam does have best reward yes.

Pretty sure all boost is 150 or 200% but I could be wrong.. and you can stack it with the digital delux for longer period. (the effect does not stack, only time)

Yea no need to worry. Buy it now. Hopefully you get the cd key asap. Link it to your trion account and start downloading it, just get the client from trion. You should also get rift+expansion today too. I just got mine. Just follow my post: http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...7614#post87614 Tho, I left out the download defiance location. But it is in there when you sign in. Look for manage games > defiance pc(not the beta) and click on download client.

Im still a little confused on this, hopefully someone can clear this up. I have already gotten my keycode from steam and i understand that you can download the client from the trion website. What i dont understand is how do you sync this with steam? Do you just install the client into the steam directory, then steam will finally start taking over and dowloading it?

Just to be clear i do not want to run this game out of steam if possible. I like steam and like having everything synced through it.

You can uninstall Steam. you don't need it after getting your code.

but you can download the game from steam itself if you want to play through steam.

The rewards is in the code. the client you get from steam is the same one you get from Trion.

all you need are the CD keys from Steam - after that ignore it -- log onto your account with Trion -- go to Apply codes -- add your steam code keys into there -- then you may need to relog to show up defiance in your game list -- then click on the defiance client - download that first -- then run it to update the game onto your system.

Steam will give you that same .exe file. Which is trion client DefianceSetup.exe file any way. lol. You still need a Trion account, not a steam account when you log in to play defiance. Is not that hard to understand it. You are basically buying the CD Key from steam and putting it in to your trion account.

Is like when you buy World of Warcraft from gamestop. You don't need to sign up an account with gamestop and then sign up for blizzard. You just go right to Blizzard, make an account and enter your cd-key.

Steam is just a digital e-retailer in this case. They are here to give you the key, and you just apply to your Trion account. You need a trion account to log in to play the game. And Trion is hosting Defiance, less load on the steam server.

Just use Steam to purchase the code, then apply it to your Trion Account.

You can totally ignore Steam after that.
