if i get a rifle from a lockbox say the lock box that comes with my UE will that same rifle drop again in another lockbox from the game?

and if so am i stuck with that duplicate rifle or is it upgraded? or can i sell it off or trade it to a vendor for credits er... bits ? bits is the name of the currency?

bits = cash shop currency - bought with irl dollars and pesos

scrip = vendor/trade currency - obtained from quests and loot drops

salvage or w/e it is = salvage currency(used for adding mods and mods slots to weapons) - obtained from breaking down weapons and loot drops.

key codes = required for buying lock boxes - obtained from quests and arkfalls.

you can and will get duplicates of weapons, from both gameplay and lockboxes. the lockboxes have normal weapons you can get from looting mobs and such.

you are not meant to hoard items. you can try but you'll quickly run out of inv space.

so is there any other way to store collectables found in the games world? like a storage locker or player chest or ingame bank vault?

If i have limited inventory space does that mean I should just pick 2 weapons or just 1 weapon to carry with me when exploring adventuring/questing?

I think it is not as in Mass Effect multiplayer. You just get a set of items, duplicates not only possible, they will be usual I think. (At least I got four or five identical shotguns during beta). You can sell duplicates to vendor or disassemble in craft window.
As for interplayer exchange... It was not in beta, and I don't know how Trion will continue =)

That depends. For example you can have one setup with two weapons for close range and other setup for long range, or just two weapons which work best together =)

there is no bank/warehouse.. or at least there was none in beta.

you'll want to dump alot of your extra loot at hubs when you stop in to keep it clear for more loot.

can pretty easily fill up from a single arkfall or a few quests.

    ofc you can salvage anywhere.

thanks for answering my questions btw.

so basically i can not collect 1 of each weapon in game just to have it. I would have to pick only 2 weapons out of the many found in the game world?

well there are profile slots you can unlock through gameplay.

you could have profiels for each weapon combination that covers all weapons.

but you wouldn't necessarily want to collect weapons just to have them. at least not non orange weapons that have good upgrades in a good amount of upgrade slots.

I think I remember reading that it's just going to be your character's bag storage, no banks planned for the forseeable future. But the inventory increases from the cash shop are dirt cheap, and a lot of the preorder/special editions come with bag size increases.

If you mean by every type you mean having one good shotgun, sniper, launcher, pistol etc then yes you can keep them in your inventory and switch them as you please as well as having separate loadouts. The items not equipped can sit in your inventory.

If you mean collecting every actual weapon in game then no this would be a huge waste of your own precious inventory space.

In beta I had a pistol, shotgun, sniper rifle and assault rifle and would replace them often with better models and sell the old ones as you do in any rpg/mmo etc...

    Happy hunting Ark hunters
