Lucky. My gamestop said they don't have enough preorders to do a midnight launch. They said they had a total of 16 preorders for all platforms. Which is kind of disappointing, there really should be more ads for defiance. There is a ton online, but I don't think I've ever seen ANY on tv.

Really? I have seen tons of commercials for Defiance on TV. Maybe it is the shows you are watching and what demographic they think watch those shows. I see at least two Defiance ads a day and I am not watching SyFy.

All kidding aside- I hope the game does well. The only real thing I wonder about is its longevity. With the next gen systems, and it being a new IP, I can't help but to wonder about it.

They've mostly been on Sy Fly. Also, GS has the ads running constantly.

But I think that they've only been on Syfy because of the show, but it really should be advertised everywhere considering there is a game as well. I've seen advertisements of other games all the time, but it seems like people who don't watch Syfy just don't know what Defiance is.

Exactly! Syfy used to be true Science Fiction (Sci Fi), now they cancel good shows like Caprica and replace them with wrestling... I give Defiance a 50/50 chance of making it to season two. I've enjoyed the story line so far based on what I've seen in beta and read online. Good luck, Defiance!

Apparently the different actors and Joss himself pretty much said that they'd love to do more Firefly and would pretty much either drop what they had going on or work in in if the opportunity to continue the series became a reality.
