Hoarding dealers and collectors are ruining the game

People that complain about the game ruin it, why is this thread up in the buy sell trade section? If somebody won't sell you something its because you didn't offer enough. Every time I look at the forums all I see is self revive so if a weapon has perfect stats you better be willing to pay for it or let it go to someone who will,(like a collector).

I agree but tag, you know, you've seen guns with 5-4 rolls and 2 rolls be bad and it still sells for high amounts. you sell pretty good guns as well as spend on them. but even you know whats something is worth, and that sets the trend. honestly i don't care what people spend on guns, im just concerned with the direction mods we're going. people can spend what they want in auction or at a store. but 200k was becoming the standard and it shouldn't be.

orange drop is pretty much dumb luck. i just hope they give out more useful item like ark shield or fragnova

Well, I appreciate the info torch327, but that screenshot doesn't back up what you posted. Not saying you didn't get that info, but it doesn't make your case. Plus, dahanese indicated that this was not true, hopefully she is right.

However, it would explain a lot. It seems like every day I get less and less enjoyment from Defiance. I'm going on 60 T3 boxes or so without a single orange weapon, while my clan mate pulled 3 just this weekend alone. So, I switched to mod caches, and am getting 75% green mods (and the 25% blues are almost always mods no one needs or wants). The same grind day after day for keycodes only to get nothing at all as a reward gets very depressing after a while.

So, you go over to the trade forums here, and see players that have hoarded so much scrip and weapons that they keep these items out of the hands of most players who can't farm for scrip all day and night. Everytime a decent weapon is offered for sale, one of these resellers bids it up into the millions of scrip, way more than the average player can hope to get.

Bottom line - scarce is one thing, impossible to get is another. It feels like orange weapons are basically impossible to get for most people.

Try your luck pulling tier 4....3s killed me forever and 4s have been good 2 me...

this doesnt make any sense.... trion has to know that people dont just sell legendarys back to the vendor box or break them down... its just dumb to think this is real... everyone at trion has a different answer for every single question

Ya guys, the mods are ALWAYS right...

1.) Orange (Legendary) weapons have a chance to drop off all enemies within the game. Some have higher drop rates chances than others, but it can range from .05% - 5% drop rate.

2.) Orange (Legendary) weapons can be gained out of all lock boxes. The higher tier lock boxes have a higher chance of dropping them, but they all have a chance.

I have quote on quote "overpaid" for so many weapons that I thought was was well worth it. My first big purchase was for a grind fragger with syphon, cannoneer, and triple fire rate. I traded a freshly pulled syphon SAW, perfect heavy assault carbine, my old grind fragger and 750k. At the time people said I was crazy and that I overpaid( I paid about 3 mill in trade). I had made my first big purchase and I felt great, now today the grind fragger is worth over 10 million,( yes I been offered 10 mill). BTW I would never overpay for something with a bad roll.

If people actually read what I originally posted there wasn't any kind of complaining what so ever stating facts that should be common sense to all of you who just simply don't understand what I'm saying.MMO's use an algorithm to generate certain items.right now its not allowing those items to be produced because there are too many being stashed in inventories for whatever reason.I could honestly care les about an orange weapon,I have purples that are just as good if not better than a lot of the oranges I have seen.what I do care about is the amount of green non-synergy and the white guided rocket launcher scopes I am now getting out of synergy boxes.
