You should always empty the "Claim Items" bin prior to any major patch. There have been unconfirmed statements from people who lost everything after major patching occured.

** As for the questions about inventory slots etc. carrying over.. This only works for weapons EARNED in game (not slots, not outfits, not vehicles..all purchased) just weapons EARNED through lock boxes or major arkfalls, while your inventory is full.**

EDIT: **I have never purchased vehicles or outfits with bits, just inventory slots. Inventory slots do
NOT carry over to alts (CONFIRMED), but I'm advised weapons and vehicles do..if you're crazy enough to pay that kind of money for that stuff haha**
I personally feel between forking out for the collector's edition & $15 of additional slots, I've given Trion more than enough of my money..still on the fence about the season pass.

Actually any vehicle or outfits purchased in the Bit store are available on any alts you create. Extra inventory slots? Not so much...

Because apparantly some lower level weapons have a higher chance of proccing..

And seeing as you can only get weapons for your current EGO level, this is a good workaround
to get lower level weapons for your higher level character.

Oh really?? I've never purchased anything but additional slots and they definitely did not carry over, was told outfits and vehicles didn't (but that is third-party info, not first hand)

Neat trick...so if I understand right the only reason you would go after the oranges with a lower lvl character is because you are more likely to get an orange in the lock boxes? Yikes seems like a lot of time spent for just a chance to get that weapon when I could still just be working on the long term pursuits for my main character instead.
