That game was specifically designed for PC. Why are you even talking about it compared to console games?

PC gaming is perfectly fine (as console gaming is) but very VERY few people can afford to drop 500/1,000 bucks every 4/6 months on new items for their PC. If you can that is great but it's rare. Console having the parameters set up allow game designers to function with quality over flashy graphics.

The biggest reason I'm getting Defiance on PS3 and not PC is A) I know there will be people cheating with overlays and B) I'm gonna come home @ night and chill in my chair playing Defiance on my big screen TV.

I really don't like how people have made the PC the center of their universe today.
    agreed lmao

I can dig it. I don't own a TV, I prefer PC games because they offer more complexity on average, and are often priced well below their console equivalent when applicable. I can still play my PC laying in bed though, with a controller, if it's a simple game. Wouldn't recommend playing Endless Space in an easy chair :P

I laugh as well when someone starts quoting specs of consoles, the whole reason behind the console is a stable box that plays games with amazing quality for over 5 years.

Also you posting your PC stats.. lol come on now sir you epeen can't need that much stretching.

So you agree that PC gaming is totally fine? You've spent pages saying it's going to die.

    most pc's?

pc's haven't had 32 megabyte video cards since 1996. they havent had 1.6 ghz processors since 1999. unless you are counting tablets and non-gaming laptops.

We're not saying one is better than any other, what we're trying to get across is that PC gaming won't die, for the simple fact that some games are only designed with PC in mind.

Aside from the worries about people cheating, I think this is a good point of view. PC gamers do spend a lot of cash on our stuff and still a pretty viable market demographic because of it.

And I use my main comp from recliner lol. It's hardwired into the big screen also for watching movies n stuff etc, but the monitor just drops down for storage and wouldn't even notice was there... I keep my alienwares for mobility but many gaiming laptops are just as upgradable as the towers now.

My husband took the PS3 and his Alienware Laptop (which is almost as good as my desktop) to Afghanistan, they offer their different roles for sure.
