This is funny always get a kick out of anyone that tell you how you should play you want tactics and being resurrected. You want this team work you say console gamers lack.
I dont know might be a novel idea but have ya thought about rolling with a team? You know an idea that crazy just might work.

3 You complain about teamwork yet roll without a team, seems like failure on your part.
4 This isn't an MMORPG. There isnt a "correct way to play"
5 If ya die during pve more times then your res timer allows... Who is the one lacking skills?

So your saying that people in COD don't work as a team? Is that realy your experience with console players? You have obviously not played shooters very often otherwise you would have ran around a ton of teams that work together to easy kill the opposing team. It's about finding the right kind of shooters who know it takes teamwork. Although it also takes the right MMO players who know it's more than just number crunching and can handle AI that think for themselves instead of a lame boss fight where they do certain attacks with timers and hit in certain areas that are predictable. Defiance is taking the best of both shooter and MMO aspects and making it something everyone has been asking for for many years. You have to be good at both to do realy well in this game or be able to think outside of one or the other game types. Hence why all of us that play popular mmo's on a dialy basis and shooter games like COD, Halo, ect. are gonna whipe the floor over most MMO players. Shooters however have a slight advantage over MMO players as they know how to line of sight against fire arms. They also know how to use the terrain to your advantage, dode better, and have experience shooting other players. Quit complaining, adapt, or quit.

P.S.Think how many ******ed Pugs you have seen in LFR and you know how invalid your point is.

I have played many shooters now have been doing it for years now on console but started out on PC MMO's but will say my team work skills came from playing sports.

I play games like MAG, BF3, DUST 514, to me the average COD random public guy for the most part is all about his KDR, camping, not much of a team player and you can see it when they get into games like the others I play not about taking objectives or reviving people want to be hiding in the back snipping or hiding in a bush ( love those bush wookies) the hey I am going to do my own thing and do not care about the team win I could care if we lose as long as my personal stats are good thats all I care about that guy who thinks he helped has the lowest point total in the game almost but went like 9/0 and thinks he's good but you end up playing a game with a few of those guys and the match/ game is a complete waste I have been in many a game where you get like a whole squad of these fools snipping and your losing the game because you dont's have enough help taking a objective then these guys with their 1 or 2 deaths talk smack about the guy's who have +10 death's but are on the top of the points list because unlike the snipper solo stat master the other guys where trying to win but of course the snipper is the better guy right he has the KDR to prove it.

The other guy I love is the coward guy who hides in a tank and instead of moving forward to give his team support he's hiding in the back using the cannon like a snipper riffle it's like you just turned the tank into a snipper? but this guy also is a master of help right as his KDR will show because he hid in the back.

Thats what I mean the average non competitive non team playing COD guy thinking only of his KDR and you can not say you can not thank COD for helping make that guy.

admittedly I didn't run any co-ops during beta so no clue on mechanics of boss fights

those who did, was everyone kiting the boss the best system ? did anyone try to draw aggro (don't need specific abilities or perks to draw aggro...simply stand in front of, have decent shield, have hp and damage reduction perks and someone off healing) while others tried to focus damage from behind?

Till, I do some co-ops myself...I'm betting that the Lets call it "aggro drawing" instead of tank, dps, and dps healing set up will accomplish goals quicker with less team wipes just like all games

oh and just in case someone doesn't know ...team wipe= everyone dies and have to start mission over from some check point

nothing needs to be changed with this game its awesome and I think they did a really good job on bringing mmo and shooters together and pvp will show who is the better players js

not everyone will PVP, and the majority of gamers don't pvp, I personally do PVE & PVP = and both require different skills and playing styles

I certainly think this is a Third person shooter, and i also think this is an Massively multiplayer online role playing game. both are justifyiable. to say it is one and not the other is silly. you have roleplayers here and fps/tps 'rs here. why we are arguing that it is not both is really stupid. and its making you look very very retallded xD it almost as if your trying to WIN this title as a strickly fps/tps game only. which simply isnt true. its a roleplaying game too so just deal with it.

I play BF3 as well - usually recon or assault.

However, when I play recon, I mostly use the MAV - helping my team a great deal with it! And if they call out a sniper whos annoying them, I take out Marleene (my light .50) and pop his head.
