PC gamers spend sooooo much money on 1 machine, well maybe 2-4 machines lol not to mention the amount of games we purchase... Game companies love our money just as much as console gamers. In my house we have 4 top end PC 2 360's a Ps3 a WiiU, 3 Wii (now only used for netflix lol)... and every other console that came before somewhere in a box int he garage. I wont argue that consoles have come a long way since Atari and Intellivision, Sega... but they all still become paperweights in someone's garage to hand down to their nieces, nephews to "play around with". This does not mean they suck. But the game console was there before the game PC in our living rooms, and until they make consoles that upgrade and are non-proprietory and upgradable, multifunctional I would doubt even the wise point of view of said shop owner that PC Gamers are going the way of the dodo bird.
