Encountered this fun little bug myself this morning... password switch worked like a charm (after 30 attempts on my security questions. Seriously, these are far and away the worst questions I have ever seen.)

The worst part is that you are not allowed to change them. I have always preferred the security question version that allows you to craft your own questions; it is FAR easier to remember.

I had that issue with a different account and since then I put very easy answers and all letters in small, one word answers also.

I have been trying to resolve this since friday. Support just told me to wait. But since everyone but me and a couple others seem to be able to pre-load it just gives me a weird feeling that something else is going wrong... I'll have to contact them again tomorrow when I'm sure I'll still have the same error.

I spoke with support this morning and was told they literally have no way of flagging access on their end.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for and dedication to Defiance! Currently, Pre-Load access is in the process of rolling out in waves. This means that some players may gain access sooner than others. This is to ensure the integrity of our service. That said, you will be able to pre-load the game before game servers go live on April 2nd. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I contacted Trion last night not about getting the error and this was my response.

I apologize for any confusion this issue may have caused. If you do not already know the game will be released on April 2nd at around 8:00 AM your local time. At some point prior to release you'll be able to log into the client and patch. Keep checking http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...ading-Official for possible information.

I tried the change of password technique talked about here in the thread. It worked for me. Now I am currently downloading the game. It is worth giving it a try.
