What are the colors of rarity?

Everquest, Anarchy Online, CoH, UO, EVE...Shall I continue?

Don't recall AO having it. However I haven't played in years so I don't remember much.
Never much cared for EQ, EVE or UO but fair enough.

Believe it or not there were MMO's before WoW and some of those MMO's used color coding for rarity.

considering the huge amount of blue i got, i would have said, white - blue - green - purple - orange...

White > Green > Blue > Purple > Orange > Red > Teal > Rainbow

I think colors are kinda similar to other MMOs, sort of a standard. Good, as to not to confuse ppl. For example if they made white rare and blue common ppl would get confused

If I remember right GW2 did this with blue and green and it did confuse people.

If rainbow is an actual color then thats just dumb, also the highest i've seen during the beta was an orange.
