The bonus is probably if you get the season pass from trion.
What if I bought the game on steam and ordered the season pass from trion since at the time steams link to the season pass didnt work? Trion charged 39.99
It doesn't say you get the items at launch of game...I would assume you would get the two items when the first DLC is released. Just a guess though.

Incorrect. Check Steams page "...plus a two bonus items, an exclusive Hellbug hat and a Lock Box"
Then you paid Trion 39.99. Only thing you can do is try and get a hold of Customer Support, via Email or Live chat and request a refund then buy from steam if you want the discount.
with the other items im really going 2 have to try and fit this thing in on the 1st and hope I don't run short on month in this coming month :/
