Sorry, unfortunately I'm a few hours away from home until tomorrow night.

I had read that the game client was available here and immediately registered and applied my code without considerig steams bonuses, so it may be too late. Ill try it first thing and report back in about 20 hours.

I bought the dde from cdkeysdiscount and have already registered the key so I can vouch for its validity.
You didnt have to get the standard you got the deluxe for $49.99?

For anyone interested, you can get the "Deluxe" edition: http://www.gamingdragons.eu/en/game/...-download.html , (Easter Sale discount) for 39 euros , and after using the code "UGrocks" u can get it down to 38 euros. It works perfectly, and its way cheaper than most of the options.

GmG actually credited my account $3 for the total of 25% saving because i had ordered a day or so before they did the 25% discount, you save $15 with 25% as opposed to $12 which is what i saved a day or so earlier. Which is cool i didnt even go looking for that extra $3 i was happy with what i paid.

Also got Rift Storm Legion bundle for free thanks to some nice fellows on these very forums giving me a copy since they had one already.

If you wanted to replicate the entire Steam package, excluding Rift and exclusives with no equivalent to buy at launch, I think it's would cost you a fair amount more than the savings. Of course, there may only be a few things on the list you really want/need. If you can get them, or their equivalents for less, good deal. Of course, we don't have a lot of pricing info for the cash shop, or a full understanding of everything that will be offered, so it's a gamble.

I think the more items among the steam bonuses you want, the more likely that the Steam deal is the better deal.

You aren't alone in wondering, though. I considered the cost of a few Tier 4 loot boxes as a build your own launch bonus, but I know the inventory bonus will be a must have, Sniper Rifle is my preferred primary and it's nice to know I'll have a nice one to start with, rather than having to play the Lock Box Lottery. I also love the truck and supposedly the Steam offer will be the only way to get that vehicle for a few months. I may still buy $10 in cash store currency to start off with, but I'm pretty happy about the decision to go with Steam.

You shouldn't have to do a lox box lottery. I think a sniper rifle is given as a mission reward to everyone on, what, the second or third mission? It's one of the few weapons you do have from the start.

If you start as a survivalist, your start weapons include a Sniper rifle. The Reward for the "Sniper Hill" Mission (the mission you get right away from Capt Grant, after you check into New Freedom) is the "Dead eye" Sniper Rifle.

It was the deluxe edition as shown under my account page.

Unfortunately it doesn't work in steam (I did put my code here first so maybe it would work otherwise but I doubt it). The massive savings are more than worth it for me though.

And you got the preorder bonuses as well? How long did it take to get your keys?

Yeah they show the DDE bonus but not the standard.. which is why im wondering if those sites are only buying the DDE key but you might still have to buy the standard also.
