Entered a code but not sure what its done, can anyone help?

I entered a code jus tnow that was sent to my email by GAME.co.uk, the code was accepted and this is what it now says -

Date game name

2013-3-30 Defiance ™ Xbox 360 Defiance XBOX Pre Order


What exactly have i entered?? How do i check?? What does it do?? I'm confused.

That means it's added to your account, in which you will link to the real game when it comes out. This was usually a gateway for people to recieve beta invites.

means you will get the pre order bonus items when you link your account to the xbox

Oh right ok. So my pre order bonus stuff (i cannot remember what it is!!) will be available when i link my game to the trion website??
