my ps3 only hard freezes when i play defiance

I've been playing this game every single day, in some capacity ( From as little as 20 minutes to upwards of 12 hours ) since this has been released. Every single time I play this game, without fail, I get a hard lock and have to reset my system. I have sent them error reports every single times it's happened, with the exception of the HL that sends me past the point of ultimate frustration and I just go watch NetFlix.

Good! I hope something gets done ASAP! One of the responses on Page 4, I believe, states that the Engineering team is going to work on it. Bout time they read the friggin Forums! Should be paying attention to it REGULARLY!

I've filed many in-game bug reports about Defiance hard freezes. I get at least one hard freeze every day - sometimes as many as five! While it does seem to help have less hard freezes when I've spent an hour reloading my game software, it still happens afterwards and over time it starts to happen more and more often. And it IRRITATES ME TO NO END THAT TRION IS STILL IN DENIAL OF THIS ISSUE! Along with all the other issues...
Yes they absolutely need to get their heads out of the sand and fix what needs fixin' - just about everything actually.
Almost all of my Defiance game friends have hard freezes too, as often as I do. In fact maybe all of them do but since groups are limited to only four players I don't get to talk to all my friends as often as I'd like. MMO = 4 players only please.

Well just to chime in I too experience these just as everyone else does.
I believe on average I experience 2-7 daily (this is not counting server disconnects or sync problems with Sony)

I initially sent in a bug report and the response from Trion was that they believed I had a damaged disk.

This is of course not the issue. My disk is pristine, as I too run a computer repair business and know what even the tiniest scratch can do.

So there you have it Trion.

We do report and you ignore them, or make excuses then state the reports do not exist.

Its not just ps3 its xbox also. Happens to me on a daily basis.

I had it happen a couple of times on xbox so glad I do not play anymore hard freeze will damage the console happening as many times *** you guys are describing ffs.

I reported a few hard resets and freezes to which I get the same message disable the media server, open ports , delete the game data and reinstall or the best one its not our servers that have the problem its the playstation network ( basically saying they don't care )
