I bet she couldn't last two little minutes in Seoul. :'(
No matter how many times I keep reading these threads and hoping for some news, some juicy tidbit or something big - *fizzle* and nothing.
We are finding out some good things though:
Volge seiges are tough, the arenas are kind of a letdown and not all of weapons are nerfed down into glorified super-soakers.

The cucumber kimchee is good too and yuk gae jang (beef soup) awesome.
Thanks for the info. I been watching Korean dramas for awhile now and want to try kimchi among other dishes! Please suggest more if able =)

Story was really only thing we get for paying for the stupid dlc and if that doesn't deliver, well I wouldn't want to be a trion employee if that happens
The draft patch notes mention numerous DLC things but nothing about new story content.
Going to be very cold in Trion's Castithan bath that afternoon if this isn't just keeping the detail close until release.

I honestly didn't mean for this to denegrate into a Korean drama, Elric1.
I just noticed where Billy was stationed and that is what got me going, Korean food and Vietnamese are my favorites with Thai coming close.
If You want to try Kimchee, go find a little Asian market and go to the refridgerated section and look for "Mak" Kimchee.
It is cabbage, soaked/marinated in ginger, peppers and a lot of other stuff.
You will either love it or hate it but You will NEVER FORGET IT. Especially the smell which will invade every part of Your being ( just ask Billy )
after You open the jar. Eat it with steamed rice, as a side dish or by itself. I always eat it cold - it won't matter though because Your mouth will be on FIRE!!!!!!
It is so worth it, though. I am going to get some today because of You. :-P

So tell me, what has changed to make THIS time the time Trion gets it right? Do not tell me it is the staff changed, because those have been going on since the 60% layoff. Is it a change in vision? Doubtful, as in order to change the vision of this abomination of bugs would require basically scrapping the code and starting fresh...for something better then 10 year old hardware.

So tell me, what is the new magic formula that is going to make this reprioritization work, or is it yet another round of lip service just to placate the players and be walked back later?
I believe only time is going to show whether you think it works. Do you like how the devs and Oat, Morgana, and myself communicate? Will you like how we reach out and what we do when we reach out and what happens with the game after we collect our info? We have a plan - let's see if you agree with how we execute it. Now, that's not to say you'll love all our decisions - I've never in all my years worked on a game where changes are universally agreed upon - but hopefully you'll like the method.

    Dahanese,
I appreciate that You are taking the time to communicate with us, I understand the entire thing from both the Trion side and the End Consumer side. Ralisti voices the frustation of the people who have felt alone, ignored and basically kicked in the teeth for a long while - all anyone wanted was for CMs and Devs to talk to us and tell something. It always felt to a lot of people that coming to the others before You for information made us feel like "Oliver Twist" asking for more porridge from some incredulous old curmudgeon who didn't have the time for us anyway.
I know and see that the lines of communication are open, it looks like things are happening.
The "wait and see" attitude from the last group was like "hide and go seek" or an easter egg hunt with invisible eggs because, You aren't going to get anything.
At least we are getting dialog with You so I feel hopeful and consider it a good start.

I'm glad to know that it's making even the slightest bit of difference - and you have my apologies that I waited so long. I feel more than a little foolish.

And I'm going to be around on weekends for the foreseeable future but know that answers won't be coming at the same speed when I'm at home typing on my laptop. Things should get better when the dev team's up in my office, though!

Dahanese, I don't like the way you communicate at all, you seem to try and placate the masses with frilling up posts that have -no- actual content. You go on very long and well worded paragraphs with poignant grammar, more or less articulated well! BUT what are you actually saying?

Thats fantastic, how about telling us -why- it happened in the first place? We don't care if you HAVE no reason to lie to us, but we do care that you *****foot around the issues and talk in circles. You've a very political way of speaking, able to make people happy by shoveling words that have the accumulative nutrients of fast food, if you really disseminate what you are saying to us it is hollow, empty, and worthless dribble.

Why were developers telling us misinformation? Why did the game originally advertise Cerberus' in open world? Why do we have any reason to trust your development team especially with the way the current PR Reps address the community by talking in circles?

The people here are asking you for answers, give answers, stop the political games. We're glad you have a chance to flex your business communications course, but stop spoon feeding us crap.

Val - I don't have a why for you and I don't think anyone here thinks it makes sense for me to spend Monday calling up folks in San Diego asking "hey why did you misspeak? Why did you tell my team the wrong stuff?" That doesn't make sense. Did someone get the information wrong? Probably. Did someone decide to tell you something that wasn't correct but they thought would make you happier? Probably. Did something get misconstrued by the community at some point that never actually was the fault of the dev team? Probably. All three of these things likely happened along the way.

And I've never taken a business communications course in my life. I do appreciate the grammar nod, though, since I majored in English and Creative Writing.
