But, if you are referring to NON-Synergy blue mods being 10k. Also remember that they are upping the scrip payout for emergencies, hotshots, and rampages. It could just be normal inflation like what happens in every economy

Also, I'm pretty sure you are referring to blue SYNERGY mods. So please show me somewhere in the live game where you can find blue synergy mods outside of a modbox right now and at the cost you said. I've never seen one. I've seen a lot of non-synergy mods as vendor specials, never a synergy (except for scavenger, and we all know how useful that one is).

Next, maybe I should have said more accessible. Cuz now more people will have better odds at tracking down mods they need without going through dealers. So, they don't have to find a dealer who has the mod. They don't have to compete with others also for that mod, thus raising the price on it. They don't have to be online at the same time as someone who has the mod in order to buy it off of them. How does that not make spending 10k for a synergy mod at a vendor worth it? Especially when I have even bought mods for over 100k. Heck, I've even traded oranges for really hard to come by mods that I really needed.

I pretty much expected seeing mod dealers complaining about the easiness to acquire mods now, and the low cost of them because now that is severely going to impact the in-game economy. I didn't expect someone to complain that they were too high price at 10k.

Judging by your signature, I think my points are falling on deaf ears. You seem to want to complain just to complain. I also think you are alone in this war, as anyone who has ever had to go weeks tracking down mods, spend tons buying mods, lost auctions for that one mod they need to finish their prize gun, etc. will see this as a great thing
I've got full synergy sets on a couple of weapons, two or three on a lot more. I got all my mods from lock boxes. I never paid more than the 1500 and the 16 keys. I wind up with keys from grinding. If someone buys something for 10,000-80,000 that I buy 2 for 1500 that's their problem.

Just because you're willing to get ripped off doesn't mean everyone else is. 10k just seems silly.

I might consider it for 10 seconds if I can point at the one in the game vendor I want instead of 10K buys me a 1/10Bajillion chance at the one I want.

But thats pay to win, and I'll delete this b!tch the first minute that happens. Admit it, there are clowns making decisions using a spin-pointer on a piece of cardboard....

As it stands now, I have 200 mods in inv, too good to scrap, and not one fits my stuff or any friends stuff. But I'm keeping it so I'll have it when one of us gets a weapon that needs it. (I give the stuff to my friends, and I've given mods away at A-falls to people who ask... I'm a non-profit).
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

Yeah if you bought one lockbox and got the exact mods that you need for your gun then you're a pretty lucky guy. I bet in the end you paid lots more then 1500 for the mods you needed for your gun not to mention all the keys. Which does kind of justify some of the prices the mods go for.

I am not a mod dealer just so everyone knows lol. It probably seems like I am from some of these posts though.

It's not being ripped off though. It's how the mod economy is. There are more mod dealers than orange dealers now. Mods are more in demand and some are near impossible to find. Would you rather spend weeks or even longer finding that Cannoneer Ionic Barrel or Assassin Tachyon Laced Extender on your own, or pay a guy who has one and get it right then? I'm fine with paying 10k, as are a ton of other people. That is the standard, you guys are the exception. Don't believe me, peruse the trade forums and you will see mods being sold at higher prices than 10k everyday and by a plethora of people.

That's all I got to say on the subject. If they are blue synergy mods, easier to get, don't have to go through dealers, AND only cost 10k. Holy crap, I'm all for that.

Sometimes I get mods I need for guns I have, sometimes I get mods I hang on to and use on guns I try to find. Sometimes it's crap. Just like a lock box. I'm just pointing out that you don't have to spend 20 or 30 thousand scrip to get one synergy mod you can use. For that much you can get a lot of mods from lockboxes.

That is 100% true but when you really need that one mod and you're sick of buying box after box after box and not getting it these mod dealers are the place to go & are good to have around. I've been searching boxes for who knows how long for stalker ar mods and wow are they hard to get. Heck even the mod dealers don't have them very often.

I have a VBI SMG with 3 stalker mods. I also have an assassin sniper rifle I never would have kept, except I had 2 mods for it and then got the last 2 later.

I think one mod is green though.

Not all traders are greedy, I have recently set up a trading thread that sells only blue syn mods (recently set-up a mod hunting service as well). I didn't intend to but I had a ton of mods that I wasn't using and didn't want them to go to waste if other people could find them useful. I am always honest about the price and if anyone overpays I always let them know and offer the excess back to them. Some players don't mind giving me extra cash so this excess is put into a prize pool for a duel tournament I am going to host when the DLC comes out. It isn't about making money to me it is about finding a reason to play.

looking at Arsenics mod thread in the ATS section. It seems that blue mods show up as specials however these are non synergised and cost 10k. But you can buy white/green mods with whatever synergy you desire for 6k i think?
