In store Pre Orders

Hi,

Went to my local Game store in the UK and pre ordered the Game Exclusive edition of Defiance. On the little pre order receipt you get no codes came on it, and when asked about the pre order codes they knew nothing about things like the Dodge Challenger.

My question is when I go instore on the 2nd to pick up my copy how can I be sure to get the pre ordered items? Also once they take my pre order receipt when I collect my game how will Trion know I pre ordered if the codes don't come with the game?

Any help would be great. I've tried the live chat, but for the life of me I can't get it to work.

you are lucky, i went into my Game store in the UK and they didnt even know about the game, or advertise it etc, ended up pre ordering digi copy on-line from a diff source

my code was on my receipt in the middle near the barecode ... i got the ultimate edition form a US gamestop store

Previously they were giving away BETA codes with pre-orders. When pre-order a physical copy you haven't actually "bought" the game yet. Your codes will print on your pick-up receipt when you physically pick up your game and they finalize the purchase.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out for it once I pick it up. You would think since it costs more to buy it in store the codes and items would be easier to get, but it seems to be the opposite.

Got mine from GAME delivered today my pre-order code was on the back of the game manual.
