could it possibly be that they said there was no plan to for it to have a turret cause turrets are a future plan? meaning that there was no plan to give us a turret with the dlc but they still added the possiblity to add a turret down the road. but they dont want to say its suppose to have a turret cause if they find a turret dosent fit then people will get upset about there never being one
They say what they need to say to keep people spending their cash for Bits knowing they can walk it back later and a good number will fall for it.
The be honest, it is a reflection of society. Many people are losing the ability to think critically. They just believe what they in the moment, even if it is counter to what they were told before. It is like they have short term amnesia.
Trion has lied, yes I said lied, numerous times. Each time they have been caught in the lie, they have walked it back. It was a misunderstanding. No one knew X said that, and it was incorrect when X said it. We said Y, but we never promised Y. Etc etc etc.
It has come to the point that it does not matter if Trion is being vague on things. Even if Trion was 100% specific with things, a vast number of people would not believe them, and in time Trion would just start spin doctoring the information.
If you doubt that, look at the Community Managers on the forums right now performing a blitzkrieg spin doctor campaign, and if you check what they are saying, they are not saying anything. They are just trying to placate the masses in hopes they can limp through yet another dismal profits report.
And even if they were just "repeating what they were told by the devs", repeating a lie is as bad as lying. It shows that the person is so disconnected with the subject matter that they would rather spread inaccurate information then do the homework for find the truth.
Like bug fixes? like restoring some of the uber-nerfed shotguns? Been waiting on bug fixes since day one and we see how that is working out... As for the now useless shotguns, if there was a fix, try'n would just fail like they have at releasing dlc on time and truthfully communicating with the player base....
Sorry, but a 'truce' can not come about as long as Trion continues as to act as it always has.
Yes, the Community Management team has been very actively posting on the forums, but the information is the same old song as dance that has been heard since day 1.
No real information has been given out about anything. Any answer to a question is so vague as to not answer anything. Empty promises versus spin doctoring. 6 of 1, half dozen of another.
From my perspective, the only difference is that instead of have Sledge making noncommittal answers, you are making them. Other then that, I am not seeing anything that has changed at all.
To be totally honest, the lack of information shows that Trion does not have a roadmap for the game and is just flying by the seat of its pants. Which does explain the horrendous decisions that have been made, because if a company does not know where it is going with its product, it can not make the correct decisions for the path the product needs to take.
So no, a truce is an impossibility until Trion shows that things are actually changing...and for the better (not like the plethora of bad changes to date). Trion has made its bed, and now must lay in it. After 4 months of the players being treated like mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed s**t), asking for a truce is insulting.
Please add more areas with different terrain. Some jungles or a dessert would be cool. Maybe an ice zone.

To be completely fair, Trion did the same thing with region locking on the 360. At first they blamed Microsoft for the region locking. All threads and tweets that contained this information were deleted and they then stated that they have full control over the region lock for the 360 version. There are only a few members of this community that even remember this issue but as my Australian friends were hyped for this game we were floored once it was announced as being region locked so we remember everything regarding Trion's response. Shady business indeed.
