Both dahanese and Sledge did lie about it. And then once the E3 DLC Preview video started circulating they took that video down. Then they took down one of Nathan Richardsson's blogs which mentioned it as the "...the truck of doomed compensation."
What kept the issue alive was that after TW did all of this to cover it up we found a duplicate video on youtube from MMORPG.com and they had zero control over that.
So finally Trick straightened things out on the livestream and was honest in the fact that up until now they were simply too incompetent to make it work.

That is one point where you are wrong. Nathan's blog post calling it the truck of doom is still exactly where it has always been Page 14 of the community blogs, under the post entitled "YOU JUST KEEP COMING BACK FOR MORE! BUT NOW WHAT? LET’S TALK POTENTIAL." under the section talking about DLC it mentions it twice...
Since the belief it was taken down seems to have been based on hear-say, what else is also based on rumours?
between you and me - I'd really prefer people broadcasting their disappointment here, where trion could acknowledge it and remove the topic afterwards.
