PS3 key pad yes or no?

Hey super excited about the Defiance release on Tues. JW for people who have playd demo if a ps3 keypad is a good investment for talking with guild/party something a little better than typing each individual key. Let me kno your thoughts.

I use a $10 usb keyboard works like a dream

I'd say so. I'm using an old Logitech usb keyboard I bought for Everquest on PS2. Still works great. Anything has to be better than using the virtual keyboard.

Are you talking about the little phone keyboard thing that attaches to the controller?
Personally I dislike that thing I find it easier to type with a full sized keyboard, I use an old logitech USB one. It would be cheaper as well, unfortunately I didn't try it on the beta so I am not sure if it could interfere with the controls.

I miss that game. What server were you on? I was on Marr's Fist.

I use a usb keyboard that was used for my ps2 works great. Only downside is in the beta it was a bit difficult to use instantly I had to call up the chat window. However I am sure it is integrated better we where beta runing a old build.

I have the ps3 keyboard that attaches to the controller, I use it free standing though without attaching it, quick and saves space when it's just laying around, but I love it

I want to say it was called Castle Lightwolf... but idk for sure. I miss it too. I kept thinking EQ2 would show up on PS3.

I've got the keypad and it's under a thick inch of dust probably, shoved in a drawer lol. The keys are far too small, if you have big fingers like me it's a pain, and you can't really see what you are typing when it gets darker even with a lamp or something it really just is a pain.

I have a cheap bluetooth keyboard and would recommend that 100% if you can't get a bluetooth one then a usb keyboard is fine too, anything besides the keypad but that's my personal opinion.
