I'm no expert on any thing. This is just my opinion. You'll ether agree or disagree. Yes there are a lot of issues. Bad planning on release, nerfing weapons an vehicles, Doc still not being out I could go on an on. I haven't been on from day one, my hats off to you guys/ girls that have been, but I've been around a while, an have burned countless hours of my life away playing games, Techmo Bowl l still love you. But bad mouthing, threatening to quit playing etc, is not going to make it any better. Some of the ppl on here remind me of ppl that do the same thing at their job, but never really quit or do anything to make it better. Form a group, put out petitions with ppls name on them. Turn all that negative energy into something that might have a positive out come for the whole community. If not at least you tried. Then you can come on say what you've done to get things better but it didn't work, so your leaving an tron will no longer have your support, an be done with it. So basically quit talking about it an be about it, or button up an shut up, an enjoy it for what it is. A failed attempt, or an attempt that just hasn't reached its full potentialyet. Which ever you fall into, have fun, play hard. See you at the next Ark fall.

Thanks Torbin, for you feed back. Your encouragement is well taken. I too have had it with all the complainers and whiners on this board. As has been stated in many other threads, most of the ones doing the complaining are 1) children who didn't buy the game and don't have a clue what they are actually complaining about, or 2( an adult who is acting childish by complaining about something that he actually paid for, but really can't do anything about. I do agree that the game is not "perfect". I do feel very sorry for the ones who did pay for their game but for some unknown reason, can't get the game to play on their console. I would be upset too and would need to vent. However, to even out the negative, there should be more of the positive. Like your post. I love the game. I needed a TPS to get me off Ghost Recon FS. Defiance did that for me. Any game that can get me away from what I consider one of, if not the greatest TPS ever made is saying something. I guess more of us need to post good things we like about the game so as to keep the whiners and complainers at bay. Again, thanks for your post. It was well worded, not overly long, and positive in nature.

I agree Defenz. I too would be upset, but after I had my fit I would take steps to, A
Get my money back, or B. Getting a replacement disc. Like you I was looking for something to pull me away from ME3, Shhhh don't tell Commander Shepherd I said that, an this was it. I too love this game. To me this game has so much potential, an is a big, an long awaited, step for console in a area that has been only available to PC. I expect there to be problems,delays an what not. I would be utterly amazed if there wasn't. I for one am excited, an can't wait to see where Defiance gose. I truly want it to do well, but weather it fails or one that rises to the top, let's at least try to make it an enjoyable ride either way. As always, have fun an play hard.

I completely agree with You, Torbin.
I don't really see a reason for anyone to rail away and get so upset over a game that is something We are supposed to enjoy.
A month ago, I freaked out playing Ice Hockey and tried to fight a guy on a Sunday night during a 10:30 p.m. game and I had to get up the next morning at 6 a.m. I ended up getting thrown from the game and suspended for another game for verbally abusing the refs, for slamming doors and basically acting like a total cement-heat. I look back at the whole incident now and I shake my head.
I PAY TO PLAY HOCKEY. It doesn't matter if I win or lose, I should be enjoying myself.
I PAYED to PLAY Defiance. I should be enjoying myself. If I am not enjoying hockey, I can quit and do something else.
If I am not enjoying Defiance, I SHOULD quit and play something else.
I try to keep all of my posts on the positive side, I want people to play Defiance and enjoy themselves.
If we continue to have a good outlook on the forum and be open and friendly, We will learn more and interact more with the Developers and Community Managers. I don't see that as a bad thing, do You?

I totally agree that a working relationship with the devs an community managers would be great. But really why should they. I wouldn't with some of the mess I've seen on here. Don't get me wrong its not all bad on here. There are ppl on here that have valid complaints an have expressed them in way that's tactful, to the point an respectful. An there will always be a few bad eggs in the basket. An who know they might would work harder for us if we did cut them some slack. I'm not saying baby them but offer positive,constructive criticism. You'll always get further with that than the other stuff. I look at it this way PC had their growing pains when games like this started showing up. Console is finally getting its turn, an for some of us its been a long wait. So we get to have our growing pains too. An if this flops an they look back a see the kinda crappy support that the community was giving them, who's to say that Elder Scrolls on line will decide to not release on 360, an just wait for One. Beleve it or not a community can make a game or break it. I've seen it happen. I choose to help make it so future games like this will continue to come out. Cuss if not who's to say when will see another attempt at it because consoles an their players are not ready. Again just my opinion.

ESO will only be for PC and the next gen consoles. I really do not know if we can really compare the two games mainly because other than what little news that has come out about ESO has been PC beta testing and it still has a long way till it is released. Also ESO has a fanbase that has been built up for years while Defiance is a new game slapped on consoles were players are notoriously hard to please (keeping it PG) and so many will flock to the next cookie cutter COD or GTA game because you know what to expect from them (and they will complain about those too). The only real area I see the concept and execution of this game falling short is being so closely tied to a TV show and it had to be rushed and now they are looking at a year till the new season starts (which has become common). Many of the issues we are seeing here are common at least in my experience with MMO style games, granted they happen quite a bit and it does get frustrating but many of us are still plugging away at Arkfalls and I have had some so crowded I am lucky to get a hit in on a hell bug and trying to get a kill shot in on that big scrapper is a pain in both butt cheeks.
