Arenas...

Arenas are equal to rampages, the only difference is that you use your own guns.

* You have 5 waves in total.
* Each wave lasts 2 minutes.
* You have 10-20 seconds interval between waves.
* Multiplier bonus can only be x10.
* Very hard to keep multiplier bonus (at least in first 4 stages).
* Last wave have to many enemies compared to other waves.
* Way to easy and i wasn't using perks/abilities...
* You can use self revive. <new>
* You fight different types of enemies at same time (99's and hellbugs). <new>

Rewards: <new>
Gold: 10.000 xp, 500 scrip and 25 reputation.
Silver: 7.500 xp, 250 scrip and 15 reputation.
Bronze: 6.000 xp, 200 scrip and 10 reputation.

When I first saw "Arena" I was thinking of something like 4v4, 5v5, etc team deathmatches that would have a ranking system, rewards, etc. Once they start something like that, I can definitely see this game kicking off bigger. Competitive PVP with gear and titles to show off your glory is the way to go in online gaming.

Yea to bad they decided to take all the fun out of arenas and make them basicly a solo survival mini game.

I actually enjoyed the arena, though I would probably think about changing the name of it since arena sounds very pvp.

Arenas were something I was looking forward to the most. They had a chance to make the arenas an awesome co-op, endless waves, something similar to Survival on CoD. They dropped the ball from the sounds of it.

It's exactly what they have been saying it would be, And Pvp is NOT always the way to go! The reason there are so many complaints about long Pvp que times is because MOST Defiance players PREFER PvE and teamwork!
