I still find that funny that PC players think that. Consoles ARE pcs as well. and we do not need to upgrade or repair OURS every 3-4 months so they can continue working or play our new games. We only have to replace/upgrade to the new model every 10 years or so.

You shouldn't have to upgrade your PC more than every 3 years, unless your wasting money or aren't computer savy. Mine is probably a good 6 years old and runs most games on near max settings at 1920x1200. I did have to finally upgrade from Windows XP64 to Win7 in order to play X-Com, but that was just switching OS and was free.

I have and own a PC, I'm a rigbuilder. I have no personal preference and I wish I had both but I can't. There is no PC master race, if in case you fell for a sarcastic joke before, good luck.

Although there's nothing wrong with Gomly mentioning the PC master race, it might be a half-truth, half joke but it shouldn't be taken too seriously. Just gives me the giggles.

I am proud to be of the Master Race as of Gomly's claim and it's certainly for entertainment purposes only (Thank you, you never fail to make us laugh).

As a rigbuilder you can change the inside components that you have as many times as you like. Both the PC and the console's graphics cards are made by the same manufacturers, but just differ in size and limit performance. Definitely the pricing is also different so it's hard to compare a $400 console with a $1000 PC. A console is an entertainment tool that has an affordable cost because you only have 1 function (maybe 2 coz it can play movies now) and a PC when custom-built is a multipurpose tool on which you can play games, browse the web, comment on the forums.

The only functional advantage that I see for PCs (say equal graphics footing and all that) is that it can browse the web easily and make comments in the forums and do other web stuff. You don't have to jump from your console to your PC and spend double the electricity to do that. Other than that, you're just comparing Oranges to smaller versions of the orange called kiat-kiat. There is nothing to miniscule over there, it is just a different version for some limited functions that cater the gaming market and there is nothing wrong with that.

It's not Trion's fault to have included the consoles, there's really a huge player base for consoles and it's the in-thing right now. Many are doing it right now with every release of a new game whether multiplayer or MMO.

Maybe the reason for the delay is waiting for the consoles. Maybe it's just a part of that. Maybe Trion doesn't want to deliver a buggy release and just want to make sure everything's in place (better rant for release than rant for bugs and imbalances). Trion is just asking that we should be patient because they may have made a mistake with someone prematurely saying the release date but they're doing the necessary steps to make it right.

I can't speak for Xbox, but I can easily surf the web from my PS3. The only limitations to this is that I can only have 6 tabs open on the PS3, whereas I can have just about as many as I want on my computer. I can even watch youtube via a web search or even just open up my youtube app.

Hey we've had IE on Xbox for almost a year now. Of course since it's not flash compatable and can't open tabs or multiple windows, it does seem neutered. But net, loads of movie program's, dvd function and games, gives it 3 or 4 uses!
