Are tier 4 lock boxes worth it?

If you want to get items I would say keep trying. If you don't. Don't. Not sure how else to say that. Don't like 4? Get 3 or 2. Your choice.

To be completely honest I don't really see a big difference in your chances of getting a legendary in a tier 4 from a tier 3 so Id say go with tier 3s it's easier on the key codes but a tad heavier on scrip but you get almost 3 tier 3 boxes for what 1 tier 4 cost keys wise.

...what they said. What I do for to keep up with the scriop is sell white items and break the rest down.

Like fish said its a good way to keep up with the scrip needs. Me I alternate between selling and breaking down for each filled inventory I have. (I.E. Fill all 73 inventory slots then sell it all unless orange or purple then fill the inventory again and break down all non orange & purples.) if you don't like the oranges you get put up a thread in the Xbox NA Need/Want section of the forums for a price check and go from there.

Personally, I've always felt like I got bent over a table after purchasing a Tier 4. People kept saying buy Tier 3s, but I always went with Tier 2s. The way I look at it is... if you're gonna get a crap roll, you're gonna get it no matter what tier you buy. People always tell you that you can buy almost 3 tier 3s for the price of a tier 4. I always think, I can buy 3 tier 2s for the price of a tier 3. In the end, it costs more scrip... but for the cost of a tier 4, I can get 8 tier 2s and 16 weapons.

I've gotten about half a dozen of my oranges from tier 2's.

I usually buy tier 3's, but I switched to tier 4's because I got 2 oranges from one box... Something I've never seen from tier 3 boxes... Cost more but I'm gambling with better odds...

I've gotten the most success from 3 and I would recommend those to anyone.
