Yes but if you dont release the l1 button and stay n aim it doesnt anymore so you only use autoaim the fist time you aim. Thats how it worked for me atleast

Do you need more then that??? FML are you playing the game or is the game playing for you. You aim and then fire, if the first thing that happens is you get a headshot, then thats to much. Not saying a DS3 does not need a little bit of auto aim, but directly for the HEADSHOT is to much, snap auto aim to headshot is not fun. It may seem fun, but eventually you depend on it, what happens when you go to another game, games that don't do AA. You will suffer, as we say in Dust. HTFU, we want PC players to stop talking **** about how bad we are, players need to be taught gun game is not hard, its just practice.

Agree with that. Theres no fun or skill in auto aim like that. Main reason why i just kkep l1 press while fighting. Not a big auto aim fan myself

Yea they should most def, dumb that shizz down to the minimum. I don't see how people feel auto-aim is fun when, every time you get a headshot it's NOT YOU BRO!!! the computer is 99% of the credit, you're the 1% that pressed the button.. DONE

Some games have the ability to turn aim assist off.

Operation Flashpoint Red River had 3 different aim assist options you could enable/disable. They had "Snap-to-Target" which is what everyone is complaining about. Call of Duty's aim assist option only turns off the Snap to Target aim in SP/Zombies, Battlefield has the option to turn off aim assist completely, personally I hardly ever noticed a difference in BF though.

IMO, other than the annoying Snap to Target aim, this game does Aim Assist well. When you "drag" your aim at enemies in PvE, the aim assist is there, but it's not very strong like what you'd see in CoD where aiming at multiple objects at once will be a complete nightmare. Also, the "aim assist box" seems to be about the same size as the enemy model, again it's not like CoD's case where it will be a complete nightmare to aim at something and not have the aim assist act more like an aim "resist".

Let's just hope in the final game they have the option to turn Aim Assist off, or be able to disable it in a future patch.

Complaining about Auto-Aim in incredibly selfish. Do you not realize that not everyone playing the game has the same hardware as you? That some people's computers might make it nearly impossible to aim with any semblance of accuracy without the aid of auto aim? So, stop being selfish and think of those who can't afford the money to pay for a computer that doesn't force them to have to use Auto-Aim.

It shouldnt be removed but the option to toggle it on and off is fine. Im sure we have handicapped players that benefit from auto aim. Why make things harder for them then it already is?

No Auto Aim in this game is it is in almost all games is on. They think that PS3 or console players in general are bad FPS/TPS players and need auto aim. All games have AA, COD/BF/Dust. There is also no option to turn it off on the PS3, I looked.

Auto Aim is not bad, but the fact it AA to the head is bad. The other part of AA is the fact AA pulls to targets as they pan across the screen.

Also those that are saying its not bad, obvious troll is obvious. Also in the PS3 beta, I was able to auto aim.

Trion, CCP tried to have AA on same as you, they had a few patches to fix it but in the end the players voted it off. We will do the same soon, if it is present come 2nd.
How 'bout you calm down and stop your BS. Aim assist doesn't affect you in major ways in PVE and not at all in PVP. Don't spam L1 and it's not a big deal. But then again, I guess I'm an obvious troll...

But but but if there is aim assist I just can't get my killshot climax. Not a single friggin person respects your ability to shoot people in the head with a game controller you freaks...get over yourselves.
