Anyone else starting at 12am?

I want to stay up and play but as far as i know your need a minimum of 50-75 preorders depending on the game to have a midnight launch. But that also depends on the district manager and if they'll let the manager be nice an do a volunteer midnight if they didn't meet the quota. Sadly the GameStop i work at does not have a DM nice enough let my manager do it so i took tuesday off and ill be drooling on my stores front glass doors at 9:50 till my manager lets me in lol.

First to answer the question. No because it would be recorded my reservation was picked up at 9 not 12 AND if i add in the fact my store isn't allowed to do a midnight my manager would get in a crap ton of trouble.


Now Im not saying it doesn't happen because it probably does in other areas as far as i know the area i work in is very strict with that the only way an employee can get a game early is at a midnight release everywhere else. But some people think it's worth a 50K fine and getting everyone else that works at that store fired.

its better to have a strict boss that is fair to everyone than a lax boss who shows favortism. in the military there is ALOT of the latter!

I will be staying up tonight watching adult swim, then spend the rest of the day grilling burgers and drinking, then spend the night watching game of thrones season premiere and walking dead finale, then drink into monday and pass out around noon and then wake up later that night, in time, well rested to enjoy the game go live and probably not sleep for the next 24 hours. haha.

I know what you mean. I just wish if a store manager is volunteering to do a midnight to help the costumers out then they should let them. theres nothing that makes me more happy then seeing a midnight of like 5 people all wicked happy. Bc the midnight was done just for them not because it was CoD or battlefield and we had to do a midnight.
