The Decoy/Hologram one is my personal favourite, it was the one I went with first and is extremely effective in PVE... about to lose you're shield? hit your ego power, get behind cover... and restart.

It is also extremely effective in PVP, maybe a lot of people just don't use it properly? The fact you can send a decoy out which can convince enemies to waste ego powers / ammo on trying to kill them, you can also use it to teleport forward by pressing the ego power again and swapping positions with the decoy which is amazingly powerful after they have got super close / wasted their ammo and begin to punch you, you swap and hit them with the shot-gun.... enemy down.

Out of curiosity, did anyone try Decoy in PvP? Did it make an actual replica of you, or just the blue hologram that it does in PvE?

It makes a replica of yourself which only the enemy team sees.

For my sniper cloak seemed the obvious choice, both for what it was as a skill, as well as many of the surrounding skills also favouring sniping.

When I tried a machinist the overcharge ability seemed like a natural choice - extra power, more damage, no reload (combined with a starting weapon with a large magazine).

I loved Blur in Beta, if you get the right perks together you'll do a fair amount of damage while being able to take hits from everything. I also used a shotgun since a pursuit give the shotgun increased melee damage. So I ran up blast them with the shotgun till the clip was empty then went on a melee spree. I would be on top for damages in the 4 man dungeons back in beta.

But I also do love Overcharge. I might connect to it from Blur for a different loadout.

i personally think Cloak at higher levels has some really amazing perks around it if used properly, the bonus damage while behind enemies and the bonus to crit damage while crouching, and also bonus crit damage while hip firing can make u a damage machine without use of any powers whatsoever, and the fact that these bonuses are all passive means you will keep the damaging up the entitre fight, and the ability to cloak i.e. remove all agro makes it easier to get into position for damaging, in my opinion unless u spec hard into overcharge cooldown, and get the cooldown on full reloads perk then cloak is nearly just as good for damage purposes, its more positional while overcharge is more temporary

I'm going with cloak. Not only for all the reasons previously mentioned in this thread, but there is also a nice survival portion of it. During PvE solo I saved myself a lot using cloak to trigger the shield regen, I'm sure this would also help in PvP as well. This also makes the higher capacity slower regen timer shields a lot nicer as well.

Everyone who dismisses blur appears to be weighing it up only with regard to its melee ability. It's primarily a speed boost; you don't have to run towards your enemy and hit them. It doesn't take a tactical genius to find ways to use mobility.

I'm probably going with cloak, personally, on all weapons. It combines well with the sticky grenade so that you can break line of sight before you engage it, and 15 seconds of stealth is very generous when you're moving so much faster than your opponents as well.

Did anyone actually fall for it? Cause usually very very few ever do in other games with something like this.

I think i'll stick with decoy for the most part. Didn't use blur in the beta, overpower was nice, but I always found that I need decoy to get out of trouble.

Cloak I may use if im sniping in a group or something.
