Guys who pose as Female Charaters in MMO's A.k.A MMO Catfish

I am male and usually play female characters, and hey if someone is dumb enough to give me free stuff just cause my avatar is a girl, I'm all for it, but I don't ask for stuff, because I'm not playing a female character to get free stuff, I just would rather see a female character on the screen, except in games like Mass Effect or such where I then play both the male and the female for the different minor options in the story. Actually kinda want to change my forum name to something a bit more generic, but oh well... right now it's the name of one of my characters.

I personally only roll female characters because if I'm going to have to look at it for hours on end I want it to be something that is aesthetically pleasing. I normally assume that anyone making a male character simply does so because looking at guys is their thing and who am I to judge.

I am the same, when it came to WoW I have 98% males...then I was like wow what does the DK BE females look like scantily clad in plate? lol, well then I was told that I was a hoe (ikisw), an a few other choice names. but yah its to check out the female fluidity of the character interaction on the screen over a male character. its junk or trunk?
p.s. also I rp in 4e D&D, a female Dragonborn, Paladin of the Raven Queen, due to the ego of male pride or image genre of male only Paladin rpers. If I wanted to hit/kill a female villain in the game, now I dont have to fight my own rl issues of doing so ingame. it probably will get the eye roll, but wtfc I believe in chivalry, even at the cost of braking my fist on inanimate objects, especially given the choice over a female.

Generally, if the female character is hitting on you, 9 times out of 10, It's a dood. As a female player, I don't go on to hit on other players, I go on to play the game. :/

I play a girl character because looking at a dude character all day pisses me off. No reason to try to charm people out of stuff though. The only plus side is that people are nicer to girls, so at least till they ask I don't have to deal with dirt bags usually. I hate dirt bags.

I'm a guy and given the choice to play as a female character I will take it EVERY time, not because i want to lure people into a trap like a "cyber gold digger" but because i would rather look at a chicks backside or in a cutscene than a guy. I NEVER ask people for money or loot and being VERY Minnesotan i often feel bad (just a little) when people give me things. I realize your post wasnt meant to target players like myself but you should know that not all "catfish" have ulterior motives some of us just like to oogle chicks (in a non-sexist manner)

guys playing guys in-game has nothing to do with being gay, its about relating to the character or seeing yourself as the character or in SOME cases being a homosexual... what does it matter? as long as the male/female character ingame isnt causing you problems other than killing you repeatedly it really isnt anyones business why the character is male/female and the player is male/female and any combination of the two. dont be a **** and assume that male players with male characters are gay and even if they are what gives you the right to sh!t on them for it? i would hate it if a bunch of gays/lesbians gave me grief for being heterosexual, the same applies to them, except they have to deal with jerks alot more than we do. put yourself in there shoes @$$hole
