On a more serious note I actually really enjoy My Little Pony but it takes me back to being a young girl. My Little Pony was quite big for me back in the late 80s and early 90s.

my mom liked mlp when she was young
i was nervous about coming out of the brony closet to her, but she thinks it's awesome that i like mlp
