Alright, I've got to know what moronic article you read that led you to that conclusion.

I am not a furry. I am actually kind of creeped out by furries (at least, by a lot of 'em). I do however enjoy watching MLP: FiM. I'm not sure if I count as a Brony, though- although I'm not sure what the actual definition of one is.

It's the other way around for me.

It's a kids program, get it, kids! And back when I was 17 I defiantly wasn't meeting up with the lads on a Saturday to wath ponie cartoons. Like what the actual EFF happened? Is this an American thing? I hope so cos the day my lad asks for a my little pony bag for school will be the day he moves from said school.

It just ain't right for grown men to be watching little girls program's and enjoying them with other grown men. Is it an attention thing? Like these "emo's" you get now?

All I got from that is the implication that you hate emo liberal furries.

And I barely watch the show.

This pretty much sums up my view on the whole situation really. People can like whatever the hell they want as far as I'm concerned, but the idea of a fandom for a single TV Show needing its own label that many take as an identity, just seems odd and unnecessary to me. I'm enthusiastic about the things I follow, but the closest thing to a label I'll assign myself as a result of them is just the title of whatever it is followed by the word 'fan'. I'm not sure where the Brony idea came from, but it spread by wildfire, and I can't seem to take two steps online without bumping into it somewhere.

I also have the same perspective on how hyper-excited people get over football, yelling at the TV etc. just seems odd to someone as mellow as myself. (Me, myself and I don't like the idea very much either. Apparently there are two of myself. I'm certain that's a sign of the apocalypse) I also saw the term 'Furry' thrown in here somewhere, can't be bothered to look for the actual post but judging by the fact it's involved and that this is an MLP thread, there's bound to be some mindless bile being spat somewhere.

Chill the **** out people, let people like what they want to like, it doesn't affect you at all. Do some fact checking before jumping to conclusions and judging an entire group on account of one aspect of it. That's what we call prejudice kids, we also call it being a **** but the first version is more polite. >_>
