Would you go to someone's funeral to piss on their grave in front of their family? To a war memorial to spout anti-war allegations of soldiers mistreating civilians and all that other nonsense that these people say? Freedom of speech is out there, but there's a time and a place for everything. Basic etiquette and all that.

The point of the thread is for those of us who are proud of our nation's forces to say so and identify other like-minded individuals. The hate messages serve no purpose and are generally going to be considered as rather impolite. I'm going to be hated for this, but I'm used to it. *shrugs*

And your point is? Where in my posts have *I* been "disrespectful" or where is this so-called "hate-message"? Please elaborate.

What you guys have to realise is, that there are just as many ppl outthere who are AGAINST war and weapons. Just because they are saying their oppinions, doesn't mean they are being disrespectful. I would rather say that it is disrespectful, when you guys begin trash-talking ppl who are against war/weapons/armed forces.

To compare saying that this thread is in off-topic and that we hear alot of this already on FB, with "piss on their grave" - well, that is just way out of proportions.

Unfortunately a thread like this will always attract...'attention' shall we say.
I may not like some of the replies,or the lack of basic forum manners, but we do live in mostly democratic countries, so people can and will say what they want..from the fair,to the misguided,the ignorant and the troll.
Just be happy you CAN say what you want...not everyone in the world can.
And the price for that freedom you enjoy doesnt come cheaply or easily.
