I just look at anti-war protests and facepalm. Global peace and no more war is like communism in that it's a nice concept that will never work. As long as people have different viewpoints, there will be conflict; as long as different cultures exist, there will be global conflict. I'm not going to start spouting intolerant nonsense, I became far too jaded and cynical to really care about the opinions of other people on matters that are of zero consequence to my own life, just in the same way that I don't expect people to give a damn about my opinions. Funnily enough, people do and I have no idea why. They're just my opinions, mere words.

Inb4 "shut up, stupid redneck." I'm Chinese, my family basically had to live apart for years because of the Cold War and Chairman Mao's dictatorship. I'm anything but a redneck. I won't post any more in this thread. I've posted my support for the troops, as well as my opinions on the surrounding material that has generated here so there's nothing more worth staying for.
