Lol i actually watched all 5 videos which took over an hour maybe near 2 and by the end of the 4th i started to nod off a bit. However i enjoyed all the videos i didn't learn much that i didn't learn myself playing around but it's always nice to make sure you have a grasp on things.

Thanks for the nice words about my vids! I'm glad some people in the thread found them helpful. Trust me, I totally recognize I have a boring, monotone delivery. I'd be more exciting if I could, but... it's just not me <shrug>.
I mostly made them for a few friends and guildmates who haven't had a chance to beta test, then if other folks out on the interwebs found them useful... it's a bonus!
At times, I hate to practice, but I love to play. I know I need to study and I know I need to practice and I know how important it is. That doesn't mean I have to like it. The question I have to ask myself is am I willing to do that? And the answer is yes.
For me, strategies will all come down to the "resetting guns" mechanic. That's something devs have talked about, but we have not seen in testing.
Currently, when the gun reaches full xp you get an extra inherent bonus on that gun, but you stop earning Weapon Skill xp with that gun. In testing, that forces you to abandon guns pretty frequently, to keep raising your weapon skill. Why are you going to spend ark salvage adding more mod slots to a gun you have to abandon? Why are you going to purchase great mods (or even weak mods) for a gun you're just going to abandon?
If resetting the gun's xp is in-game at launch, and that reset is pretty cheap, and it preserves the mods in the gun... then it becomes much more interesting to spend early Keys on synergy mod caches, spend ark salvage on adding extra mod slots, and really tricking-out a gun at lower level.
