ok lol the gun level dosent change from what you pulled it as or what you bought it as it stay the same no matter what don't ask me why but thats just how it is...
The EGO rating of the gun is determined by your EGO level when you got it.
This effects the mod slots and bonus rolls available on the weapon along with synergies or no synergies.
The prices to mod also change.
It does not change as you level as the weapon would in theory be effected then as well. Its to keep it a stable object off that makes sense.
