Sellers Assemble!!!!

Looking to see if any one else thinks we need to get a group/ clan going in game to set a standard of pricing. I know the mod dealers have a page, but with the changes coming it might not be a bad idea to have a group that we can all pull ideas/ resources from. We could have ppl keep an eye on up coming changes an make adjustments before new content, keep an eye on kinda where the markets kinda flowing to etc. Not limit price per say but figure out what the majority of players are willing to pay for X. It seems that most sellers are just selling to each other or just ripping off the nubs. Not all just have seen it happen. No one one here that I've seen yet any way. But I would agree with a statement I read on another post, someone seen someone else sell X for 200k an that's what they think the going rate is. Any thoughts, opinions etc are welcomed.

It's hard to put a price on stuff and this is why. If person a and person b want the same gun that's for auction they are gonna bid against each other. People like me and some others that buy stuff they really want may pay a price not worth it to others. For example a BMG that goes for 2.2 mil. It wasn't the seller's fault it sold for that. The two who were bidding on it REALLY wanted it! Then you have to take into account rolls, synergy, nano and what the gun is used for. A perfect pvp gun will go very very high! Where the same style of the gun with two self revives will go cheap.

Honestly it boils down to the buyer when it comes to price.

Mods are all the same and limited in difference....while guns are each individual and some can't be matched..it is too hard to make a uniformed price on something that is so different from one gun to the next

maybe we should try price ranges by thinking of the worst and best possible combos for each type of gun and set price ranges

I agree on that. That two guns that are the same type may not be the same gun due to rolls syns etc. But on the other hand auctioning and selling are two very different things. One has a set price that will go up or down depending on the use or availability or even market trend of said item. The other is based on the buyer/buyers and who wants it the most. I've seen this happen...A. I have oj X for sell. B
How much. A.Make an offer.B. OK how about 30k. A. I was looking to get 40k. C. I'll give you 40k.... and then the bidding war begins. Or for ppl like me that do mod work on weapons. What is a good salvage to scrip ratio.1:1, 1:0.5???? Do we need to start calling ppl out when they do that. Hay man you said sell not auction so what's your price??? Or if they nerf a gun dose that mean to sell or buy??? I just think we could do a lot better in our efforts to try an make things more stable for clients/ players so they have an idea what to except to buy or sell x gun for or how much their going to pay for x services.

Again I may pay 1 mil for a gun that I really want that most ppl wouldn't pay that.

And if you don't like the price don't pay it...... simple
