It also doesn't help there is likely a false economy for all the commonly traded items.

If we actually knew how common legendary weapons are, or assassin sniper mods, or... then the prices would likely drop dramatically. There are A LOT of players on the consoles in particular who DON'T EVEN KNOW THE FORUMS exist. There could be thousands of oranges and tier 3 mods getting sold to vendors/scrapped simply because the players getting them are unaware they can sell them to other players easily.

Edit: The ONLY way for a realistic economy to be born in this game is for us to get an auction house type system.

Open all the mod slots, find mods that help it do better say all green tier 3 an its not syn, a nano an say one good roll, say its a vbi assault carbine. What should I charge for that. That's kinda my problem. Do I charge just over what the game says its worth, or tack up the price for the extra work I put into it. Granted I know I'm not going to get 50k for it but what is a good price range. You could say same for blue an higher.
You do what everyone else does. You think of the price you want others to pay, mark it up significantly then see if others bite or you're negotiated down from there. Welcome to how most games do free trade/selling :P

As for price fixing, good luck with that. Free enterprise, multiplatform/region/player times and just sheer desires by others for money means that none will follow through.

Preteens and socialists may desire it, but it wont happen...... especially with the test server's new prices on things being half a million scrip on some items.

True. Was hoping to get a base line to go off of. Not trying to fix prices. Like some have said almost impossible to do with so many different things that could be on a type of gun etc. All good an valid points. Thanks to all that shared.

But I guess that's how "Human Beings" are in general.
I guess I'm to old fashioned then. I would think that having a price every one can see, an compare to other prices would be a good thing. Heck if I had the lowest marked price you would think that would score me more buyers and repeat buyers.

People are too greedy for set prices (legendry's) so it would never work.

Mods its a great idea, but legendarys, wont work.

The greedy people here will just flip it

"Oh thanks for selling this gun for 300k!"

*Goes to sell it in game for 1 mil

It happens all the time, and without auctions, it cant really be stopped...

Until your left with nothing but your junk, and since you were selling your good stuff at such a good rate, other will be turning around to flip them for profit.

Your now in a situation that has left you with just your undesirable items, and a low amount of scrip for your good ones you did sell. Since others have profited from your "good deals" they have more revenue than you now, and can buy up the better stuff, sell it for more profit, buy more, sell, etc....

This game is the definition of "Nice guys Finish last"

True. Oh well, just a thought. Not like I pull many ojs any way or have the time to farm for hours on end. Was just trying to see what general over all thought of the idea or mind set was.
