I'm just posting this in case anybody else is having this issue. I've had a few weapons in my inventory that after maxing out the weapon experience, I did not receive a mastery bonus. Most were blues and some greens, so I ignored it and salvaged them. I was fine with this until I received an epic (purple) Mazu Blast Rifle with insane rolls. I used this until it was maxed out and sure enough...no mastery bonus. I contacted Trion about this Tuesday and asked if ALL weapons were supposed to receive a mastery bonus. I checked my email this morning and here was their reply;
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with receiving your mastery bonus on some weapons. Every weapon, no matter the rarity, should receive a mastery bonus once the experience bar has been maxed out. However, currently weapons are receiving mastery bonuses, but there is a UI issue causing those bonuses not to be displayed. Our development team is aware of and working to address this issue, and we hope to have a fix in place soon!
Just thought I'd throw this out there to save people time emailing support or losing their minds
And yes you heard that right, I got a reply within 24 hours on this issue. I've had four support tickets with Trion and they've all been handled promptly (within 24-72 hours) ranging from not getting my Preordered Game Items to a glitch that wouldn't let me advance in the final mission. All issues have been resolved and at the risk of sounding like a fanboy, I absolutely have nothing negative to say about their support team. I know this isn't the case for everyone, but courtesy and some manners when dealing with people can go a long way.
