Anyon who ordered direct from Trion actually get a "prelaunch token"....

Ok, so as I recall Sledge posted that if we pre-ordered from Trion, we would receive a "token" in an e-mail to be able to access the download for prelaunch.

Has anyone received such a token yet? Like many of you Ive already download what appears to be the release client, but I never received a token (meaning I never saw an e-mail from Trion saying "ok, you can pre-launch download the client") which is what Sledge stated would be coming in our mail.

I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything and have the right version....v. 1449730...and that me not getting any e-mail (or ANY of us not getting an e-mail) is a non-issue.

p.s. you can still download the client patcher even if you just made a new account (and didnt buy anything). Not sure what happens after you try to actually patch tho.

I pre-ordered from Trion. I was able to download the game just by logging into the trion website.
Go to manage games, click defiance from the drop down menu
You will see the client. It might still say coming soon but you can still download it.
I didn't receive any tokens via email.

No matter what version you have, it should automatically update to the most up to date one. So it doesn't really matter.

I did the same as everyone else, but never got the email.
Launcher version is 1449730
Client version is 450399

Awesome...thanks for the responses all, looks like I have the launcher and client version all up to snuff. And also verifies what I thought...likely little to no tokens sent (small sample size but I'll take it!).

They've probably haven't launched emails yet, i'd imagine they'd pop up on monday if they still plan to send these "tokens" out.

I dont think Sledge ever said you would receive the token in an email....
I think they are just referring to authorising people to be able to download and patch the client. The token they are talking about is a software thing that is applied to your account. When you open the patcher, if you were previously getting the "not authorized" message, the patcher will auto update and then you can patch.
