Weapon XP Bonus Mods Randomly Changing

So I have spent MANY MANY hours grinding for those l33t guns with just the right mods I want. However, this morning I was using my VOT Techmag Pulser, with full Xp bonus of +.05 Crit dmg. After completing a Volge encounter, I went to salvage a few things, but low and behold, my beloved VOT Techmag Pulser now has its' Xp bonus changed to .06 damage reduce while reloading.

This completely destroys my need for the gun. What the hell happened? I literally did NOT mod or change the gun in any way. I merely completed a small open world instance. Now the gun I worked so hard to achieve is nothing but scrap. WTF??!?!?

Reputation guns and quest guns reset when you leave a co-op or instance, log out or join a pvp match. Was that tachmag either a quest item or purchased from a reputation vendor? it happens to all of them.

I believe I actually received the gun from a major arkfall.. can't remember which though..

So we just have to hope the DLC fixes this kind of issue, or was this behavior intentional?

EDIT: I just logged in again, and now the same gun's xp mod is x.90 reload... lol...
