ONLINE SHOOTERS and Auto AIM-- Really?

This "little" feature is total garbage and massively takes away from the game. Doesn't not having to aim kinda ruin the point of a shooter? It should take skill to hit what you want, not just point that way and hit everything.

It has been verified that Auto-Aim is NOT enabled during PVP. Thanks for clarifying all.


Defiance is a great game, it does have LOTS of issues currently, however enabling auto aim in PVE and/or PVP in any shooter is a complete and total turn off to any decent gamer. This NEEDS to be removed. Please bump if you agree.

he fact that Auto Aim is enabled during PVP is absolutely ludicrous.

If a player is not good enough in PVP, it does not help him. And if he's good, then there is no difference, if he uses it or not.

If you are not very good in PVP, you will be killed with Auto Aim and WITHOUT it. If you are good in PvP, you will not care if your enemy has Auto Aim or not.

I agree.. Auto aim on a shooter is the same thing as an aim bot.. You might as well have the game play for you also, auto walk, auto shoot, auto loot, auto everything.

So is AA enabled in PVP or not? As far as I can tell, it is. If you zoom in on someone, the cursor follows the player to a certain extent..

Personally, I have AA shut OFF. ALWAYS.
I want to aim where I point the gun, not where the game thinks I should.

Not on. And AA here doesnt follow just takes your sights to the enemys head when you pressed aim, so if they move its usually off. Try it in an arkfall and you get a lower score .

I disabled my auto aim a long time ago, it was actually worse for me to aim with it.
