It's useless with the current dmg, I have one with 21 in the clip and its still crap

I have one (more than one) and regardless of any nerfing, it's still a great gun. So far only 9 mag but I could increase it to 21. I've also use the standard mag of 1 with a lot of success-against the Volge.
In answer to the OP, yes there will be a chance of 2 fire DoTs if the Nano procs.
