Hello. Figure if some of us are active in the forums that it would be nice to know who we are playing with and maybe sometime even play.

About me:

Location: Live in Ontario, Canada (pretty much all igloos here, true story).

Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/majewski I enjoy gaming from time to time and probably enjoy collecting Steam games more when they are 75% off or bundle deals.

What I do: I monitor servers at work to make sure they don't go ka-boom using Control M and BPPM (not expecting anyone to know what those two programs are...). Also, making sure pricing files are in and run smoothly behind the scenes for investors.

Hobbies/Interests: PC Gaming, fantasy baseball & nfl, watching MLB.tv, picking things up and putting things down...err..the gym, etc. I WILL get a dog in the next year or two once I buy a place.

MMO Background: WoW (stopped playing back in Nov/Dec). SWP server first years ago, then went casual. Played some Rift when it first came out, but found too much wrong with it at the time (even though it and FF13 were the smoothest released MMORPGS I've played on release date). FF13; sucked. Star Wars; reached 50 and quit (bored). Guild Wars 2; would love to play this more. FF11; sucked me in but eventually moved on away to WoW.

Top 3 Games That Pop in Your Mind Without Thinking: Suikoden series, Dishonored, Fallout

Games Backlog: Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, Skyrim, Deus Ex, Borderlands 2, etc, etc, etc Way too many...but on the plus, if I ever get married and have kids, my kids will never be able to complain about games...ever.

What Are You Excited About the Most in Defiance: To see how the tv show integrates into the game.

Top 3 Games That Pop in Your Mind Without Thinking: Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Silent Hill

Games Backlog: Mainly Bioshock Infinite (horrible on console controls are terrible compared to Bioshock 1/2). Not too many, recently caught up with them fortunately but I can safely say the same about kids as suikoden.

What Are You Excited About the Most in Defiance: New MMO, and is attempting to be a shooter. Really hoping it holds me over until Destiny >.> or even longer would be great

What I do: Unemployed for 4 years.. yeah.. not much stuff going on here >_>

MMO Background: My first MMO was Everquest 1, never got into it.

Ragnarok Online the first MMO that I really enjoyed and i played it over Dail up Modem!

Same goes for Star Wars Galaxies before the game change patch that made the community run for the hills. I also played that over dial up modem.

After that iv played and beta tested pretty much anything there is on the MMO market. You name it, iv played it.

I spent 1 year playing only Chinese/Japanese and some Korean MMOs.

Iv been heavy MMO gamer for at least 12 years or so. I took a break after SWTOR but i'm now back and recharged ready for action.

What Are You Excited About the Most in Defiance: How the TV series vs MMO integration will go about and to play another Trion product.. I loved Rift but iv always wished it was more sci fi..

Location: The lowest layer of hell. I'm pretty sure that's synonymous with Massachusetts, USA.

Steam: I hardly use it.

What I do: Lift things up and put them down. Move them from point A to point B. (CDL A driver) In a few weeks I aim to change fields and become a prison guard if I get an academy date.

Hobbies/Interests: Mostly the love of my life. Besides her I love my family, the NFL, video games, puppies, and long walks on the beach.

MMO background: EQ 1 and 2, Vanilla WoW, EvE, and TERA. Also Phantasy Star Online and Phantasy Star Universe.

Top 3 Games: Chrono Trigger, The (original) Legend of Zelda, Tie Fighter.

Games Backlog: Bioshock Infinite/Songbird Edition for PC is on the way from Amazon. Nothing else besides that and Defiance that interests me until Dark Souls 2 comes out. Possibly Destiny if it comes out first and is any good. I might go back through some Touhou games, Deathsmiles, or other curtain shooters like Raiden IV in the meantime. I might also pick up PSO2 if the English version is released any time soon.

Most excited about: The TV show more than the game, but I figure supporting the game monetarily will also help keep the series alive.

What Are You Excited About the Most in Defiance: It is a new game to play, been waiting for something new for a while now and I prefer online gaming to single player stuff.

What I do: i run a guild, blog and make youtube videos of games me and my friends play. i spend alot of time chatting and commenting on games, and even more time listening to the buzz to find out what games are hot and what people are saying about them. i also enjoy tracking cliches and tropes in mmo gaming.

Hobbies/Interests: gaming, film making, writing, guild management, socializing.

MMO Background:
first mmo was swg pre cu, and it was pretty terrible. irl friends convinced me to try lineage 2, played it for 2 years. then spent a year in tbc. then played pretty much all of the wow killers since at launch. i pretty much just like trying new mmo's at launch and seeing how long they keep me interest. i've been officer in most of the guilds i've been a member of, a few years ago me and my best friend decided we wanted to try our hand at making our own guild. after a false start in wow cata, we managed to get something going for rift that has lasted since.

What I do: Was a Sniper in the US Army, Medically retired in february got blowed up overseas. Now i just play games all day everyday!

Hobbies/Interests: Bowling 212 AVG. i try to stay active but im limited to waht i can do had bunch of back surgeries. Play tons of video games. im an avid marksman and i run a local training camp on how to become a marksman from time to time. own a 30-6 custom 28inc barrel 1/8 rifling. barret m101 .50 cal sniper rifle. ACR. and many more. thank god for being ex military and can buy whatever i want

What Are You Excited About the Most in Defiance: I am just exited because it's something new to the MMO genre, (well, I've never seen anything similar) and want to see how it turns out in terms of end game and if it will be good enough to make me stay etc.
