Trion should make a defiance ARG

It's WWE, they took the F out years ago. SyFy doesn't run the shows, it just airs one of them, Friday Night SmackDown.

Run in its other contextual meaning was what I was speaking to. I know Comcast doesnt own em :P. As for the wwf/wwe point, I think its a good thing Im not up on their specific name... makes it easier to prove I dont watch :P

80 million and many years in development is what we have to show for it. Mismanagement is the core reason the game is in the state that it is in. Thus those "if's" are pretty much never gonna happen.

Dahanese has run some pretty cool ARG's in the past. I don't know if there its time right now to do it, but I'd always love to see more from my favorite Gamemaster.

Trion should make a defiance Alternate Reality Game as a means of advertising the game and show. If the ARG would go in depth, be heavily lore and story driven, have lot's of codes and problem solving, and make you feel like you are actually doing something in the world of defiance, then i'm sure the game would get more players (new AND old), and the show would get more viewers. It wouldn't have to be something huge, just something to spark (or respark) our interest. I think if Trion can afford the time, money, concentration, and creativity into doing this it would pay off.

I think that Trion should NOT spend money on creating an ARG. They need to focus on spending on game development, Store items, and bug fixes.

They do not need to be putting people on anything else, they need to stick with what they have and actually deliver a decent product.

People want to reach for the stars in a game that barely got off the ground.

Then maybe a fan made one. I really don't care who does it, I just think it would be cool and fun. The halo/Ilovebees campaign was cool, and the fact you felt you were helping in a storyish struggle was really cool. Yeah, I see your point, fixing bugs, and working on game development (personally I would like to see a new zone in game) is a big issue, so maybe a fan made one could be done (it does not have to be big). Or maybe someday, if the game was to recieve a resurrection, trion could do this.

On a different note, if the was to be done, they could make it seem like you were a VBI recruit (or VBI operative) and were going on some sorta mission.
