I usually buy a game for the armor, character models, if they look cool. Dumb reason. But I still have barely seen what these look like in game, I know there is a large variety of weapons. But is it the same for armor?

PS2 is a very different game it focuses almost entirely on the shooter aspects, large scale pvp not to mention vehicle combat. Where Defiance focuses on PvE, RPG elements and story. This game is closer to Tabula Rasa then anything else.

the armor you get is like a shield sort of reminds me of a halo shield it goes down then your health is effected you lose that ya dead

I really hope there is more character customization other than having to buy from cash shop.
I can already imagine majority of people looking the same because the lack of outfits you get just for playing.

Arguments like that are just stupid. They are completely different games, there is no reason why someone can't enjoy both of them, and something isn't bad just because it's made by Sony. Planetside 2 has one of the fairest free to play models currently on any game, there isn't anything for sale that you can't get another way or boosts your power by a huge amount in it.

Well, just based on my beta experience, I had 4 or 5 outfits from doing missions, and I didn't even get close to halfway through the first area.
